WALDRON — Waldron won all five matches in straight sets Friday in handing Edinburgh a 5-0 Mid-Hoosier Conference girls tennis defeat.
Jessica Walsh fell to Emerson Lindsey 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Izzy Richardson lost to Emily Tyree 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Zoey Sida fell to Riley Thursday 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (1-5, 0-3).
Edinburgh’s Mia Dodson and Lily Turner lost to Malia Murphy and Riley Price 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. Bella Turner and Gracie Lawson fell to Kathryn Ross and Jackie Corlette 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
