NORTH VERNON — Jennings County did not drop a game in four of the five matches Monday in posting a 5-0 girls tennis win against Columbus East.
Tatum Brown beat Sara Moran 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Kaydence Lowman topped Emily Zhu 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Mia Silvey blanked Zoe White 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (5-1).
Jennings’ Jocelyn Valdovinos and Sophia Lucas beat Lillian Smith and Bruna Carriera at No. 1 doubles, and Gabi Morin and Maddy McIntosh defeated Luci Morales and Saya Hauser at No. 2 doubles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
The Olympians fell to 0-9.
