First United Methodist Church’s annual hosta sale for a range of missions and outreach efforts, including local work, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11 in the church parking lot at 618 Eighth St. in downtown Columbus.
In the past, some sales have generated as much as $5,000 total. All proceeds go to the church’s missions fund.
Plants are $8 for the small ones and $16 for the large ones. The plants are grown on the property of Leighton and Sheila Turner in Edinburgh.
