BLOOMINGTON — Columbus North finished third in Thursday’s Conference Indiana Unified track and field meet at Bloomington North.
Lydia Andrews, Gabby Spurgeon, Audrey Nordman and Mia Gambiani led the Bull Dogs with a second-place finish in the girls 4×100-meter relay in 1 minute, 13.36 seconds. Johnathan Lucas, Brennan Hester, Gavin Bayne and Luke Spurgeon took third in the boys 4×100 relay (57.74); and Ben Wiltrout, Koady Porter, Sophie Thomas and Noah Palmer were third in the 4×200 relay (2:19.86).
Noah Marsh finished third in both the long jump (15 feet) and 400 (1:05.16). Brady Myers took third in the shot put (34-7), and Luke Spurgeon was third in the 100 (12.66).
Also for Columbus North, Hester placed fourth in the long jump (14-11), and Nolan Riley finished fifth in the 100 (13.39). Bayne took sixth in the long jump (13-9), and Palmer was sixth in the 400 (1:12.15).
Myers and Nordman received All-Conference medals.
