FRANKLIN — Columbus North’s boys and girls track and field teams closed the regular season Tuesday with a dual meet at Franklin. The meet was suspended because of rain about halfway through the running events.
Drew Schiefer won the boys shot put (53 feet, 3 inches) and discus (151-9), and Avery Johnson took the girls high jump (5-1) and long jump (16-3) to lead the Bull Dogs.

North’s boys also had wins from Liam Milne in he 110-meter hurdles (15.23) seconds, Akot Tong in the 1,600 (4:25.25) and Derek Arau-Ortiz in the 400 (50.00). The Bull Dogs captured the 4×800 relay (7:55.00).
Macy Eaton won the girls 1,600 (5:26.85). North also took the 4×800 (9:52.55) and 4×100 (51.01) relays.
