HOPE — Hauser won the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches Wednesday, but Oldenburg Academy took the other three to claim a 3-2 girls tennis victory.
Bella Kilps beat Isabel Price 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for the Jets (5-7). Mattie Foster and Addy Barriger topped Kenlee Martin and Khloe Lehman 6-3, 2-6, (10-6) at No. 1 doubles.
Hauser’s Lydia Jordan fell to Evelyn Vanderpohl 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and Kayden Miller lost to Lily Vanderpohl 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Abby Manley and Kaycee Ridgley fell to Ashley Hunter and Lexey Simmonds 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
