North puts up season-best in runner-up finish at Smock

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North put up its best 18-hole score of the season Saturday in finishing second out of 26 teams in the Franklin Central Invitational.

No. 7-ranked Center Grove won with a 297 at Smock. The Bull Dogs fnished with a 305, and No. 2 Guerin Catholic took third with a 316, followed by North Central (321), Roncalli (323) and Franklin (325).

Freshman Austin Perry led North with a 75. Joseph Perkins added a 76, Brady Schneider and Alex Clark each shot 77 and Luke Friend had a 91.
