SEYMOUR — Brown County picked up its second win of the season Friday, a 37-0 victory against Trinity Lutheran.
Trinity is playing a JV season this year, but this counted as a varsity game for the Eagles. Brown County joined the Mid-Indiana Football Conference this season, and the Cougars will be joining that conference in two years.
The Eagles (2-7) led 29-0 at halftime Friday. Quentin Bell threw touchdown passes for Preston McNeely and Coltyn Swisher, and Hayden Taylor, Swisher and Joe Anderson ran for scores.
Quentin Bell had three interceptions to lead the defense.
“The shutout was something to be proud of,” Brown County coach Tony Bell said. “That’s a tough task to do.”
The Eagles will host Greencastle Oct. 24 in first round of the sectional.
