NEW ALBANY — IU Columbus went the distance Saturday to post its fourth conscecutive win, a 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 15-10 River States Conference victory at IU Southeast.
Cora Baker pounded 25 kills, Bailey Stevens recorded 33 assists, Journey Brown had three blocks, Mikaela Salinas notched 20 digs and Sadie Egan served two aces to lead the Crimson Pride (17-7, 8-4).
Also for IUC, Ruthie Bingham tallied 12 kills and one block, and Brown added 10 kills. Egan posted 22 assists and 14 digs, Salinas added two assists, Ava Granson had two blocks, Kami Vester contributed 14 digs and Baker and Alyvia Luce each served one ace.
The Crimson Pride visit Oakland City Friday and Brescia Nov. 1 before closing the regular season with home games against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Nov. 7 and IU Kokomo Nov. 8.
