James William and Donna-Marie Kane of Vashti, North Carolina, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with family in North Carolina and will later take a trip to the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, North Carolina.
Mr. Kane and the former Donna-Marie Cox were married June 24, 1967, at St. Paul’s Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Kane is retired from Cummins Engine Company.
Mrs. Kane is retired from St. Bartholomew Catholic School.
The couple have two children, Matthew of Durham, North Carolina, and Elisabeth of Columbus. They also have two granddaughters.
