Developmental Services, Inc. will host a free formal dance July 15 at The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus, for anyone older than age 16 with a disability.
The Hollywood Nights Formal Dance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include refreshments, music and dancing, a free picture and a commemorative cup.
Caregivers and support staff for guests also will be admitted for free, but everyone must have a ticket.
“Even individuals who are not DSI clients are welcome to attend the Hollywood Nights Dance,” said Tom Harpring, DSI communications representative.
The hope for the night is to provide guests with the opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friendships, Harpring said.
