I have read all the letters to the editor condemning the National Rifle Association in regard to the shooting in Florida. I have yet to see one blaming the shooter, the school authorities, the local police or the FBI.
The school had a file on this young man. The FBI did not follow up on calls made to them. The local police had 40-plus reports and went to his home numerous times. He allegedly hit his adoptive mother so hard that she had teeth knocked out. His mother made calls to the police.
If just one agency had done their job these shootings never would have happened.
President Trump nor the the NRA had anything to do with this shooting.
Why are some politicians, parents, teachers, the news media and anyone who hates the president lying to students?
If the students are as grown up as you say they are, they will listen to the truth and sort through what really happened and who is responsible.
