A special American Red Cross blood drive is planned in honor of Jonah Kreutzjans from 2 to 7 p.m. April 17 at Sand Creek Elementary School, 1450 W. County Road 500N in North Vernon.
Jonah, a first grader at Sand Creek Elementary School was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, known as ALL, in June 2016. He has received blood transfusions on a regular basis and may need more as treatment continues.
A previous Red Cross blood drive for Jonah resulted in 74 donations.
