Jail to allow no-age-restriction visits

The Bartholomew County Jail will allow no-age-restriction visits at the jail from Jan. 22 through Jan. 24.

Normally, visitors must be age 18 or older. However, no-age-restriction visits are allowed on special occasions throughout the year.

Individuals who are on felony probation are excluded from the visits.

There are some restrictions for the visits including having a state-issued photo ID, and refraining from wearing clothing that is revealing, or clothing that promotes gangs, drugs, weapons or profanity.
