Northside Pediatric Associates held a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new 7,970-square-foot office building at 4225 Vickers Drive.
The building is being constructed by Driftwood Builders, and is projected to be completed by December. The design was created by American Structurepoint.
“I always felt like Northside Pediatrics is such a family environment,” Northside pediatrician Dr. Scott Taylor said. “It’s amazing to see where we’ve come. We love what we do. This is just another way to serve our families and serve our kids.”
Northside Pediatrics was founded in 1972 by Dr. C.B. Kim.

Four of the practice’s five physicians attended the groundbreaking ceremony Friday afternoon, including Taylor, Dr. Todd Baxter, Dr. Tamara Iorio and Dr. John Montgomery. Also part of the practice is Dr. Linda Guse, who was unable to attend. Dozens of nurses and staff members were also at the groundbreaking.
“Dr. Kim started with 1,200-square-feet, and we’re going to 8,000 square feet,” Taylor said.
Northside Pediatrics is currently located at 2400 NorthPark, Suite 10.
