Winter weather advisory issued for Bartholomew County

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect for Bartholomew County from 5 p.m. today to 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of snow possibly mixing with freezing rain are expected tonight and early Monday. Ice accumulation should be less than one tenth of an inch.

The advisory is in effect for Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew and Decatur counties.
