INDIANAPOLIS — Randy Scheidt was named Indiana Realtor of the Year for 2020.

His nomination came from the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors and he is the first honoree from that organization in the 65 year-history of the award.

He is currently an Indiana Realtors Political Action Committee trustee and chairs the MIBOR Realtor Association Economic Development Council and its foundation.

In his hometown of Columbus, he is a member of the Rotary Club and serves as the Riley Children’s South Central Philanthropy Council senior advisor.

Scheidt founded and led Don R. Scheidt &Co. for more than 40 years. In 2019, he started Scheidt Commercial Realty LLC. He is married to Jill and they have four children and two grandchildren.
