• Jason Gearhart, American Nursing Care, for great care and encouragement he gave to our mother during physical therapy sessions.

• Mike P. at Advantage Heating/AC for excellent customer service, not only fixing the heat, but ensuring our fireplace was working, from the Palmers.

• Lukas for putting the 4,016 piece Star Wars puzzle together over break, from Grams.

• stopping the traitorous attempt to subvert the Constitution and overturn the election results and the will of the voters.

• President Trump, who really knows how to get people worked up.

• Lois Kimery for her dedicated 42-plus years of service at Columbus Regional Hospital, happy retirement girlfriend, from Randy.

• the hugely successful Salk vaccine program of the ’60s for getting millions vaccinated against polio via a cube of sugar at school.

• the two local elected officials understanding their obligation to uphold the state Constitution, not bow to tyrannical executive orders.

• Hope Moravian Church, Methodist Church, Cafe and all volunteers for Monday night supper.

• Jackie Gatsy, Jacob Hill and Community Corrections staff for being here for us girls at the WRAP program.

• Adam at Kroger pharmacy for helping get prescriptions straightened out, from Myrtle and Amy.

• Congressman Greg Pence for being sworn in again to represent our district.

• Cindy at Accessibility for helping me with my husband’s medical equipment needs.

• my wonderful mail lady at my apartment who carried a heavy box up the stairs for me.

• Carrie Douglas for helping to provide free meals for the needy at Christmas and New Year’s.

• my favorite teacher who raised my grade from a 2.5 to a 3.

• school corporations for opening up schools and giving children a safe place to be.

Onions to …

• school system for returning to in-person learning and putting our teachers at high risk.

• the years-long property eyesore on State Road 46 West.

• the federal elected official committing sedition against the U.S.

• the federal elected official awarding the Medal of Freedom to his most extreme sycophant congressman, proving it no longer means anything.

• those that want us to trust an untested vaccine and yet look to the state for help because they don’t know what to do.

• the weak, narrow-minded people who even after seeing the death and chaos surrounding us, still refuse to wear a mask.

• school leaders who chose haste over vigilance when it came to opening schools.

• the school district making instructional decisions every two weeks keeping parents, students, and teachers under constant anxiety.

• the school system creating inequitable and unsafe work conditions by placing teachers in classrooms five days a week.

• the federal elected official who after the election and countless failed appeals is still not convinced he lost.

• those who think sworn affidavits alone are evidence, they need to be backed up with evidence.

• criticizing the local medical facility giving vaccines, they don’t determine who is eligible.

• the one-man wrecking crew of the Constitution.

• the desperate, delusional, and very dangerous federal elected official who is trying to conduct a coup.

• the elected officials committing sedition and trying to help the federal elected official destroy our Constitution and democracy.

• the city not having turn arrows on several traffic lights on 10th Street.

• those who think that the vaccine won’t stop COVID-19.

• those who will not let the evidence be presented in court about the election.
