INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health announced that 669 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 692,240 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
To date, 12,679 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 11 from the previous day. Another 405 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.
A total of 3,281,732 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,279,662 on Monday. A total of 9,053,119 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
Bartholomew County reported 7,750 positive tests (up four) with 152 deaths (no change) as of Tuesday.
Surrounding counties reported:
- Jackson County: 4,867 positive cases (up seven) with 69 deaths (no change).
- Jennings County: 2,230 positive cases (up one) with 46 deaths (no change).
- Decatur County: 2,769 positive cases (up one) with 92 deaths (no change).
- Shelby County: 4,721 positive cases (up four) with 95 deaths (no change).
- Johnson County: 17,193 positive cases (up 22) with 370 deaths (up one).
- Brown County: 973 positive cases (no change) with 40 deaths (no change).

Hoosiers age 16 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To schedule a vaccine, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance.
As of Tuesday, a total of 3,061,069 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 1,794,940 first doses and 1,266,129 individuals who are fully vaccinated. The fully vaccinated number represents individuals who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and those who received the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
