Candidate filings continue

Candidates have continued to file to be on the ballot for local offices representing Bartholomew County in the upcoming May 3 primary.

Lindsey Holden-Kay filed Monday to run for Bartholomew County Prosecutor in the Republican primary. Holden-Kay, a former juvenile magistrate and prosecutor assigned to the Columbus Police Department’s Intelligence Led Policing Unit, had previously announced her intention to seek the GOP nomination this past fall.

Virginia “Ginny” Whipple, a Republican, filed Monday to run for Bartholomew County assessor.

Also, James Mahoney filed Monday to run for the German Township Advisory Board in the Democratic primary, the Bartholomew County Clerk’s Office said.
