Bobby E. Roberts, 85, of Nashville, passed from this life at 10:50 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at Brown County Health &Living Community.
Mr. Roberts was born June 30, 1936, in Brown County, the son of Eugene and Alice Dowell Roberts.
He married Glenda Sue West, December 29, 1956.
Bob was a member of North Salem United Methodist Church and was a retired self-employed truck driver.
An outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed going out west, traveling to Gatlinburg and watching sprint car races.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years; his sons, Jim (Diana) Roberts of Columbus and Rob (Tammy) Roberts of Seymour; grandchildren, Drake Roberts, Erin (Ben) Davis, Allysa (Rob) Scaggs, Kylie Roberts, Rylie (Bobby) Thornsberry, Regan Roberts, Rashel Roberts, Cody (Dani) Woods and Ty Woods; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lee (Jackie) Roberts and Bill (Becky) Roberts both of Nashville and a sister, Linda (Roger) Cline of Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Timothy L. Roberts and Daniel R. Roberts and a sister, Donna Shephard.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Daryl Gressel officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
In keeping with the families wishes, cremation will take place following the service.
