COLUMBUS
James “Jamie” B. Arnholt, Jr., 43, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
Jamie was born August 23, 1979, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of James B. Arnholt, Sr. and Beverly C. Grable.
He attended Columbus North High School and worked a variety of jobs in the Columbus area. Four wheeling and hunting were among some of his favorite past times. Jamie found enjoyment while fishing, relaxing with his family and being out in the woods. Being a true county boy at heart, he became very good at wood working, making picnic tables and benches for family and friends. Jamie will certainly be missed by those that know and love him.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Grable; father, James Arnholt, Sr.; grandmother, Joanne C. Eden; sisters, Shawna (Nathan) Arnholt, Vanessa Arnholt, Kelly (Richard) Kellems; brother, Michael L. Grable; uncles, Joe (Susan) Arnholt, Howard W. (Kathy) Eden, Joseph L. (Denise) Eden, Max (Joyce) Morris, Lewis (Sherrie) Grable, Jeff (Maricela) Grable; aunts, Jane Morris, Carol (Gary) Phillips, Julie (Phillip) Pokorny, Bonnie Rogers; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth W. and Marjorie Arnholt, Howard L. Eden, Mary L. Grable; step-father, Michael E. Grable; uncles, Rex Arnholt, Mark Arnholt and Dan Rogers.
In keeping with the family’s request, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
