PALM HARBOR
ROSS, Rick, passed away in Palm Harbor, Florida on April 7, 2023. Born in Rushville, Indiana, he was the Son of Robert and Violet Ross. He graduated Bedford High School and had received additional college credits. He was employed at Sears where he worked as the display and advertising manager for 26 years.
Rick was a member of several organizations including: Eight honorable years in the US Navy; a life member of Ancient accepted Scottish Rite – 32 Degree, and St. John’s Lodge #20 in Columbus, Indiana; Indiana retired teachers association, Palm Harbor United Methodist Church, and American Legion Post 275 in Dunedin, Florida.
He is survived by his spouse Marsha Ross; children, Lynette (John) O’Grady, Regina (Chuck) Barrett, and Melissa (Jeff) Bailey; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He will be remembered by many extended family members, friends, and loving pets – Stacy and Freckles.
A Graveside Service was held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 2:00PM at the 9/11 Memorial within Curlew Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Rick’s honor to a charity of your choosing.
