INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus East volleyball went 1-3 in Saturday’s Cathedral Invitational.
The Olympians fell to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian 25-10, 25-16; Silver Creek 25-17, 25-18 and New Castle 25-14, 25-18 before ending the day with a 25-19, 25-20 win against Guerin Catholic.
Jenna Guse recorded 23 kills and two aces, Caroline Frost notched two solo and five assist blocks and two aces and Krea Martin had 46 assists and two aces to lead East (6-17). Chloe Gilley notched 44 digs, and Addison Emery each served two aces.
Also for the Olympians, Frost pounded 21 kills, and Martin had two assist blocks and 25 digs. Guse added two assist blocks and 24 digs, and Lilah Klei contributed eight kills.
