NEW ALBANY — Columbus East scored in the game’s opening minute Saturday, but New Albany rallied for a 3-2 Hoosier Hills Conference boys soccer victory.
Martin Simon Rodriguez scored both goals for the Olympians (4-4-3, 3-2), the second coming on a penalty kick in the 52nd minute. Emilio Quintero Aguirre had the assist on the first goal.
New Albany outshot East 17-16, with the Olympians putting seven shots on goal to six for the Bulldogs.
