BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — John Werber recorded 50 saves in his Indiana Sentinels debut, but the two-time defending Federal Prospects Hockey League champion Binghamton Black Bears posted a 4-1 victory.
Ethan Esposito scored an unassisted goal in the third period for the Sentinels (0-9). Binghamton outshot Indiana 54-14.
The Sentinels will play in Binghamton again Saturday. The next home games are Nov. 28 and 29 against the Blue Ridge Bobcats.
