The month of April is Safe Haven Awareness Month and our Run/walk happens  during this special month in order to raise awareness by sharing Safe Haven information and fundraising for National Safe Haven Alliance, and their efforts to prevent infanticide and newborn abandonment in our Country/State. The National Safe Haven Alliance promotes the Safe Haven Law, and offers Safe Haven Relinquishment, Adoption, Temporary Placement, Parenting, and also Provides the 24/7 Crisis Confidential Hotline to Support those parents in whatever is needed.
