Take-A-Seat Fundraiser for REACH Columbus, Inc.
Saturday, Oct. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mill Race Center.
REACH Columbus, Inc.’s mission is to provide adult individuals with disabilities a sense of self-worth, identity, and community contribution by offering individualized programming, training, and support. We envision developing a systemic change in our community that will lead to opportunity for EVERY adult with a disability that allows them to utilize their unique skills and abilities, whether it is in the workplace, volunteering, or in community service.
On Saturday, Oct. 1, REACH Columbus, Inc. will be hosting our first (and hopefully annual) Take-A-Seat fundraiser. Take-A-Seat will showcase one-of-a-kind chairs and various artwork designed by local artists available for purchase through BOTH a live and silent auction. REACH Columbus, Inc. fills a huge need for so many adults with disabilities by providing meaningful and relevant programming that often ends when they leave high school. We serve this population by developing a program that supports four key areas of study: employment/training, exercise/nutrition, life skills, and social recreation.
Looking for Artists with a Heart
Contribute a chair or other artwork for our live and/or silent auction that will benefit REACH Columbus, Inc. during our Take-A-Seat Fundraiser.
