Marshall L. Kaserman

Marshall Lee Kaserman, 75, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away March 23, 2015, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. He was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Ernest Marshall Kaserman and Goldie (Lamphire) Kaserman Gill.

He is survived by a sister, Norita Pierce of Edinburgh; a nephew, Gary (Carolyn) Chelf of Edinburgh; a niece, Kimbra Chelf of Edinburgh; a great-nephew, Jason (Erin) Chelf; a great-niece, Candance (John) George; four great-great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; and a special friend, Aline Sosbe of Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Christina Gill.

He was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church. He retired from Precision Rubber Plate in Beech Grove, Indiana, after 42 years of service. He enjoyed drag racing, traveling, wrestling, the Indiana Pacers and the University of Kentucky.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church by the Rev. Guy Hardin. Calling will be at the church from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. today and from 1:30 p.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
