Bartholomew-Brown County Red Cross was notified that 81 Bartholomew County families would be eligible for assistance from FEMA to repair and rebuild flood-damaged homes.

1966

Overhead flashing warning signals were installed at the accident-heavy intersection of 16th and Franklin streets. Traffic records showed that 15 accidents happened at the intersection in 1965, the same number as at 25th Street and Central Avenue, an intersection handling much more traffic.
