Westport
Richard E. LaFlower, 80, of Westport, died at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
He was a veteran having served with the U. S. Air Force from 1951 until 1957 during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his former wife, Rosalyn A. LaFlower of North Vernon; his son, Duane (Marguax) LaFlower of Milton, Florida; his daughters, Robin G. (Shawn) Bevers and Ronda L. (Jim) Eder both of North Vernon; his brother, William LaFlower of Butlerville; his sister, Sonda Filson of California; and his five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lonnie Mires; and brother, Larry LaFlower.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery with military graveside rites. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
