Officers of Indiana State Police District 43 gathered at the Seymour Post for the annual memorial service honoring their fallen comrades, a total of 30 officers since 1933.

Columbus Board of Works and City Building Inspector Herman Darlage agreed to condemn nine houses near 22nd Street and Keller Avenue if owners did not make arrangements to connect the residences to city water and sewer service within 60 days.
