The Columbus East girls soccer team spent a day painting, laying new carpet and flooring and doing yard work on a Hutchins Avenue Home, earning a $2,000 check for new team warm-ups and uniforms.

A town meeting that began with residents complaining of unkempt properties ended with two of Clifford’s three council members resigning and an uncertain future for the small town.

Nearby residents complained of being disturbed late in the evening by racing noise coming from the track at the 25th Street Fairgrounds.
