Lorrine Ruth Beisel, 83, of Jonesville Road, died at 4:18 p.m. September 1, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Lorrine was born January 16, 1933, in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, the daughter of Stanley Andrew and Carrie Ethel Smith Todd. She married Bruce Beisel December 23, 1950.

Lorrine moved to Columbus in the 1950s. She had been employed at Lib’s Nook and for several years at Bayles Upholstery. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed camping.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Jesse Shoaf officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Faye Zook of Columbus; brother, Cecil Todd of Denton, Texas; sisters, Hazel Brown of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, and Effie Taylor of Broadhead, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bruce Beisel, Mickey King, Johnathon Zook, Carrie Zook and Elizabeth Zook; and great-grandchildren, Dylan King and Sheyanne Street.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce; sons, Donald and Rory Beisel; sisters, Lucille Newsom and Dessie Todd; and granddaughter, Courtney King.
