Despite heavy rain, Walk Columbus raised $8,000 for Developmental Services Inc.; 470 bicyclists participating in the Hope Ride raised $6,000 for Hope Food Panty and the Human Services food pantry; an omelet brunch brought in more than $8,000 to benefit Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Department; and the annual CROP Walk raised several thousand dollars for the area hungry.
