The 39th annual Hope Heritage Days festival saw good crowds of faithful fans despite unrelenting rain and a threat of severe weather.


Arvin Industries North American Automotive Division announced layoffs of an unspecified number of managers at its North American plants and Columbus headquarters due to far-reaching cutbacks among Big Three automakers and erosion in the automakers’ market share.


Dedication services were conducted for the first of three new buildings planned by Fellowship Baptist Church on Midway Street.
