Angela Turner

Angela Maria Hannum Turner, 49, of Columbus, died at 7:03 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on Dec. 28, 1966, in Columbus, Angie was the daughter of Raymond L. and Marguerite “Marge” Viers Hannum. She married Bion Turner on Nov. 22, 2010, in Jamaica, and he survives.
Angie was a 1985 graduate of Columbus North High School. She loved spending time with her family, boating, baking, traveling and gardening.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street and one hour prior to the service Saturday. There will be a celebration of Angie’s life at 11 a. m. Saturday by the Rev. Dennis Aud. In keeping with Angie’s wishes, cremation is planned.
Angie is survived by her husband, Bion Turner of Columbus; daughter, Lindsey (Clayton) Ott, Columbus; her son, Adam Jones of Columbus; stepdaughter, Brandie Turner-Perez of Columbus; sisters, Diana (Bruce) Nolting of Hope, Sandy Abney of Columbus and Lisa Burton of Greenville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Nolan Ott, Audysee Evans, Jordan Briner and an anticipated granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
