Olympians rout Panthers

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East won 11 of the 14 matches Thursday in rolling to a 52-18 win at Bloomington North.

Jake Schoenegge (138 pounds), Lane Goode (182), Dalton Anderson (285) and Graham Rooks (126) all won by pin for the 19th-ranked Olympians. Bryce Copeland (195) and Jeremy Clark (106) won by forfeit.

Corban Pollitt (145) won by major decision. Austin Wilson (160), Austin Sheckles (220), Cayden Rooks (120) and Dawson Combest (132) won by decision.

Panthers edge Owls

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County and Seymour each won seven matches, but the Panthers pulled out a 31-30 victory.

Victor Antunez (113), Zane Beineke (160) and Brendon Sutton (285) all won by forfeit for the Panthers. Alex Skelton (170) won by major decision; and Dalton Craig (126), Brooks Wathen (145) and Sam Woolf (182) all won by decision.

Cougars edge Chargers

GREENSBURG — South Decatur pulled out a win in its big rivalry game, edging North Decatur 45-44.

Stacy Fox led the Cougars (4-16, 2-4) with 17 points, while Taylor Best added 10. Mackenzie Kopplin grabbed eight rebounds.
