Chris C. Tyler, 67, of Holton, died at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Premier Health Care Center in North Vernon.
Surviving with his wife, Nancy Tyler, are sons, Chad A. Tyler of Las Vegas, Nevada and Troy (Kim) W. Porter of Versailles; daughters, Brandy (Scott) Phelps of Plant City, Florida, Penny Jones of North Vernon and Patricia (Doug) Edwards of Westport; brothers, Kent Tyler of Holton and Thomas (Shirley) Tyler of North Vernon; sister, Betty Jones of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Reed.
A funeral service for Mr. Tyler will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Junior Tyler officiating. Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to donor’s choice of charity.
