Margaret Johns, 74, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017, in Albuquerque, NM.

On March 1, 1943, Margaret was born to Robert and Edith Hargis in Columbus, Indiana. After graduating from high school, later receiving an Associates in Child Development, she became a devout teacher.
On June 24, 1961, Margaret married the love of her life, Jack E. Johns, in Columbus, Indiana.
During her life, Margaret had the privilege of being a published author under the name, MJ Johns. She enjoyed meeting with Joy Writers on Wednesdays.
Family was always her priority. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loved ones; she cherished them more than anything.
Those left to treasure Margaret’s memory are her husband, Jack E. Johns; son, Chad Johns; daughters, Kirsten (Robbie) Chenoweth, Kalen Pedigo; grandchildren, Dean Chenoweth, Brianna Chenoweth, Ryan Pedigo, Taylor Pedigo; great-grandson, Kaden Chenoweth; siblings, Terry (Don) Murphy, Kathy (Leroy) Hoover, Robin McCue and Shawn (Juanita) Johns.
Preceding Margaret in death were her grandson, Thomas East; great-grandson, Donovan Chenoweth; parents, Robert Hargis and Edith Hargis; sister, Susan Perry; father-in-law, Jack D Johns; and mother-in-law, Jean Johns.
