The Columbus East Olympian Spirit Marching Band took a field trip to the home of retired band leader Elwyn D. Brown to play “Happy Birthday” to celebrate his 66th.

Two delegations of merchants, representatives of the 25th Street Shopping Center and the Central Business Association, appeared before Columbus City Council to request action on an ordinance that would regulate traffic and conduct on the shopping center parking lot and propose an ordinance that would require the use of “proper containers” for garbage and trash.
