COLUMBUS
Justine Rose Brown, age 90, of Columbus, died peacefully in slumber December 27, 2017.
Her passage to Heaven will be celebrated by many loved ones who preceded her including husband, B. Wayne Brown; mother, Jessie Watson Harding; siblings, Anna “Hope” Dinkel, Harold “Bud” Harding, Janice “Dolly” Buchholz, and infant Frances Harding.
Surviving are her three daughters: Constance Brown, Columbus; Camille Willmore, Columbus, and Teresa Artman, Carmel. She will be greatly missed by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, Columbus.
A graduate of Nashville (IN) High School and Ivy Tech, she also belonged to the American Business Women’s Association.
She was employed in city and county government offces and was an assistant field auditor for the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brown County Historical Society or the donor’s charity of choice.
