A winter storm warning predicting up to 6 inches of snow followed by sleet and ice was issued for the Columbus area.


Cummins reported sales were increasing faster than the company projected, on pace to break the $20 billion mark as early as 2011, and investors sent the company’s common stock to a record high of $84.50 on Wall Street.


In high school sports, the 17-2 Columbus Bull Dogs boys basketball team pummeled Anderson 105-72, the Bull Frogs swam to an easy sectional victory with 96 points and the school’s gymnastics team won an 82-72 victory against Concord.
