Dorothy Mae Galyen, 96, of Greensburg, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Morning Breeze Healthcare Center in Greensburg.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Gates of Indianapolis, Lettie Paton and Donna Galyen both of Greensburg; her son, James Galyen of Greensburg; her brother, James Francis Smith, Jr. of Washington D.C.; and her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Eugene Galyen and son, Edgar Eugene Galyen.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with the Rev. Larry McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Presbyterian Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Westport Volunteer Fire Department or the Letts Volunteer Fire Department.
