Melvin Dean Day, 83, of North Vernon, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at Premier Health Care Center in North Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hendricks Day of North Vernon; a son, Dexter (Lee Ann) Day of North Vernon; a brother, Norman Richard (Connie) Day of North Vernon; and grandson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
