Donald Eugene Taylor, 80, of Columbus, died at 8:08 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope.
Mr. Taylor enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and dancing.
Donald was born in Columbus, Indiana, June 26, 1936, to the late Frank and Monnie Baldwin Taylor.
Survivors include his son, Randy (Rhonda) Taylor of Columbus; daughter, Shelia Tays, of Columbus; grandchildren, Sarah (Damon) Megerle and Jade Tays; great-grandchildren, Brelyn Pool, Kai Megerle and Zane Megerle; sister, Beulah Waskom of Medora, Indiana; brother, Dallas (Anita) Taylor of Columbus, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathern, in 2011; one brother; and three sisters.
Cremation will take place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
