COLUMBUS
Edna J. Howe, 95, of Columbus, passed away on July 19, 2017, in Yuma, Arizona.
Edna was born July 11, 1922, in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Maudie May Hampton Moulton.
Along with her family, Edna operated Bartholomew County Beverage, of which she was Chairman of the Board.
Edna was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years. She enjoyed working in her garden, traveling and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Boles officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include sons, William (Garlene) Weisner, Edward (Connie) Weisner and Michael Weisner, all of Columbus; a daughter, Nancy Samper of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Lori (Norman) Eavey of Columbus, Pamella Guzman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Michelle (Albert) Montoya of New Mexico, Camilla Moody of Indianapolis, Erin (Chris) Torres of New Mexico and Mark (Dana) Weisner of Columbus; 19 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Howe; a son, Gregory Weisner; and granddaughters, Sheila Watson and Susan Moody.
