Donner Aquatic Center will miss its targeted opening date Saturday because some needed maintenance must be completed.
Local residents who have been waiting to cool off in the city’s pool must now wait until Tuesday, city officials said.
Although the pool was to have been open for Memorial Day weekend, recent rainy weather made it impossible for workers to apply sealant to the leisure and slide pools as had been planned, said Columbus Parks and Recreation Aquatics Director Jim Lemke.
