Teams from the police and firefighters will compete 6:45 p.m. Monday at Texas Roadhouse, 2508 25th St. in Columbus.

They will compete for bragging rights and to raise money for Shop with a Cop and the Firemen’s Cheer Fund, which both provide gifts and needed items for at-risk children during the holidays.

Columbus Police Department competitors are Kyle Young, Paul Garnett and Sean Deem. Columbus Fire Department competitors are James Miller, Ben Noblitt and Kevin Bozell.

Ten percent of the restaurant’s sales on the day of the event will be donated to the charities.
