City lists websites with closing information

Columbus Parks and Recreation Department is sharing the current status of activities and programs on websites which detail the staged reopening of facilities.

The parks department COVID-19 reopening schedule is at https://columbusparksandrec.com/covid-19-resources/covid-reopening-schedule/.

Parks officials said the stages are subject to change based on CDC guidelines and other new information. Additionally, specific modifications will be applied to each stage and each activity or program based on further guidance. DNR opens some campgrounds, inns

INDIANAPOLIS — Most DNR campgrounds, property-operated cabins and camper cabins, inns and restaurants have reopened as part of Indiana’s Back on Track plan.

New reservations may be made by visiting camp.IN.gov.

Campgrounds at Glendale and Willow Slough fish & wildlife areas are also open, and available first-come, first-served.

Swimming beaches have reopened but public outdoor park pools are not open.

Park offices remain closed but lake permits, horse tags and off-road cycling permits can be purchased at entrance gates or online at ShopINStateParks.com.

Youth, rally and group camps remain closed. Playgrounds, shelters, recreation buildings, and fire towers remain closed as well.
